Using a mobile device’s motion detectors to do cool stuff is easier said than done. Most apps use it to move objects within an environment but not many have achieved a notorious effect. In this racing game, Korean automotive brand KIA didn’t stop at using your mobile device as a steering wheel, it uses you phone to create the actual track moments before each race.

GT Ride uses the phone’s accelerometer and gyroscope, it records the path as you scribble though the aire in front of you with your hand. Creating 3D representation of that scribble and turning it into a virtual race track. Check our the video below!
